Don't let the name 'freak' you out...there's nothin' but kind folk at this waterin' hole!! Wilmington's newest establishment opened in May 2011. The captain of this ship is the one and only "Freak", the Chicago southland's favorite radio DJ, formerly with Mancow's radio show. Freak and his first mate Betsy welcome you to come check out their new digs in Wilmington and grab a shot of Jack. Completely remodeled and brand new from the floor up, the Roadhouse boasts a wrap-around bar for 360 degree drinking, at least a dozen flat screens (including in the bathrooms), Diamond pool tables, an outdoor patio, and Schlitz on tap. Enjoy one of their signature shots, the Dresen Drip or the River Rat while you listen to Freak broadcast LIVE from the Roadhouse for his top rock radio station The Kat 105.5. Freakster's Roadhouse has become the premiere venue for some of the country's top bands such as Adler's Appetite, SOiL, Battery, and more. WIth a brand spankin' new state-of-the-art sound and lighting system, the experience becomes an indoor rock concert, up close and personal. Freakster's is also biker-friendly with designated parking spaces for motorcycles and is a hotspot for local poker runs.
